|Disaggregation of Revenue||
The following table disaggregates the Company’s revenue for the three months ended March 31 as indicated:
(1) Principal electrical construction operations include revenue from transmission lines, distribution systems, substations and drilled pier foundations.
(2) Other electrical construction includes revenue from storm work, fiber optics and other miscellaneous electrical construction items.
(3) Amounts have been reclassified from the “Texas-Southwest” regions to “Other electrical construction,” for the presentation of the three months ended March 31, 2018, since these amounts are associated with storm work. This reclassification had no impact on the total revenue reported for electrical construction operations. The amounts reclassified for the three months ended March 31, 2018 totaled $922,000.
Tabular disclosure of disaggregation of revenue into categories depicting how nature, amount, timing, and uncertainty of revenue and cash flows are affected by economic factor.
